SINGAPORE SCOUTS’ VISIT TO SABAH
Sabah Scouts was honoured to host a visit from 36 fellow scouts of Toa Payoh District, Singapore from 10th to 17th June 2008.
On 11th June 2008, a reception was held in BP House, KK as a welcome gesture from the State Headquarters. The guest of honour was the honourable Datuk Hj. Yusoff DSP Hj. Mohd. Kassim who is the Chairman of the Sabah Scouts’ Council.
On 14th June 2008, another reception was held upon their arrival in Sandakan which took place at Scouts’ Nature Park, Sandakan. The visiting scouts was greeted by the Sandakan Scout Council as well as Sandakan Scouts.
A unique feat during this visit was the badge swapping activity in which both the visitor and the host produced a commemorative badge of this visit.
